A NEW Best Start Family Hub is set to open in Birchen Coppice, Kidderminster, on Wednesday, April 1.
To mark the opening, everyone is invited to go along to the hub between 1pm and 3pm at Birchen Coppice Primary School to enjoy a fun afternoon for all the family.
Family hubs are a welcoming place which offer support to all expectant parents, children, young people and their families.
They aim to provide a single place to go for support and information from a variety of services, including parenting groups, midwifery appointments and stay and play sessions.
The new Kidderminster event will include a range of free activities for families to enjoy, including an Easter egg hunt.
Local music group, The Coppice Shanty Crew, will also be there, performing nursery rhymes for children in their own unique style.
Organisations at the hub offering advice and support include the Healthy Worcestershire team, Health and Sustainability Wyre Forest, HELP, Kemp Hospice and Kidderminster Libraries.
Melo Mind, Simply Limitless and Smoke Free Homes will also be on hand, offering support and guidance, as will the finance team at Wyre Forest District Council.
The hub is free to attend with no need to book.
