KIDDERMINSTER Harriers romped to a 4-0 win against South Shields to move up to second in the National League North table.
Harriers scored three goals in the space of 10 first-half minutes as Amari Morgan-Smith, Tope Obadeyi and Joe Foulkes put the home side in command at the break at Aggborough.
And Ashley Hemmings completed the scoring on the hour mark as Kidderminster moved one point behind league leaders Chorley in the table.
Phil Brown’s side broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Morgan-Smith poked the ball into an empty net following a defensive mix-up between the South Shields goalkeeper and a visiting defender.
And Harriers doubled their lead seven minutes later as Obadeyi glanced Hemmings’ floated cross from the right into the bottom left corner.
The home side struck again on 40 minutes when Foulkes lashed a shot into the net after South Shields failed to clear his initial headed effort.
And Hemmings sealed the points after the break with a cool finish into the bottom left corner following a sublime touch and pass from Morgan-Smith.
Kidderminster are next in action against Halesowen Town in the FA Trophy on Saturday, November 16 with kick-off at 3pm at Aggborough.
