KIDDERMINSTER is getting a new Nando’s restaurant, which will open its doors in the town centre tomorrow (Wednesday, July 1).
Nando’s adds to the line-up of eateries and bars along Kidderminster’s Riverside Walk, includes Tappeto Lounge, Wall2Wall and Coffee #1.
The site on Exchange Street was previously a Bistrot Pierre.
In January, Wyre Forest District Council, which owns the development, revealed it was in talks with Nando’s for a lease agreement.
Council leader Coun Marcus Hart said: “We welcome Nando’s to town and wish them every success.
“It’s great that Nando’s has chosen Kidderminster as part of their national expansion plans. Nando’s is an important addition to our vision of creating a destination town centre that draws people in throughout the day and into the evening.
“Nando’s at the Riverside Walk will significantly add to the choices for residents and visitors to meet up and have a great time in town with its other attractions.”
