THIS YEAR’S Kidderminster Canal and Food Festival is set to take place next month.
The event is organised by FAB Festivals, in conjunction with Kidderminster business improvement district (BID). The extravaganza will take place from 11am to 9pm on Saturday, August 8 and from 11am to 7pm the following day.
The free event will boast a selection of street food from around the world.
There will also be artisan traders, local businesses, funfair rides and family attractions.
Visitors will be entertained by live music from a variety of performers and talented local artists. These include Gathan Cheema with his popular Michael Jackson tribute act and others.
A Kidderminster BID spokesperson said: “Following the huge success of last year’s event, we’re bringing even more food, entertainment and family fun to Weavers Wharf.
“Whether you’re looking for amazing food, a family day out or a weekend packed with entertainment, this is an event you won’t want to miss.”
