A NEW Menopause Empowerment Network Support Group is launching in Kidderminster this week.
The sessions are aimed at empowering and educating women through this significant life phase.
The group is free to attend and is being hosted by Sandra Todd, an experienced professional with more than 18 years in the Health and Wellness industry. The sessions will provide a supportive and informative environment for women to share their experiences, learn about menopause, and connect with others.
The first meeting is taking place from 6.30pm to 8pm this Thursday, September 26, at Simply Limitless, 26 Walter Nash Road West, Kidderminster.
Following registration and a meet-and-greet, there will be an educational session and an opportunity to ask questions and network. Each monthly meeting will feature guest speakers from both holistic and medical backgrounds.
The first session will address the different stages of menopause, common symptoms, hormone imbalances, and practical nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to ease the transition. Complimentary tea and coffee will be served throughout the evening.
This scheme is fully funded by Wyre Forest District Council and Worcestershire County Council.
‘Delighted to bring sessions to the town’
Coun Ian Hardiman, Wyre Forest District Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing, Health and Wellbeing, said: “We are delighted to be able to support this project.
“It will provide an opportunity for women to meet in a relaxed surrounding, where they can feel comfortable to talk openly about the symptoms of the menopause.
“We are also grateful to Sandra for volunteering to host the sessions. “
Anyone who would like to attend should book their place in advance emailing Sandra Todd at [email protected] .
