WORCESTERSHIRE organisations and businesses have come together with donations to support local hospitals this Christmas.
Community members and businesses have donated toiletry sets, hand crafted Christmas cards, new born gifts, gifts bags, chocolates and selection boxes to Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
Donations will go to all patients spending Christmas day in hospital so they can celebrate the festive season.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust has said thank you to everyone who has shown support.
Sophie Burt Head of fundraising and community development said: “Thank you to everyone who has shown support for their local hospitals this festive season.
“Each year Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity Team is so pleased to support the kind donors who donate gifts for patients spending Christmas day in hospital, the outpouring of support experienced this year has been truly amazing.
“It will make a real difference for our patients and for the amazing NHS staff working on Christmas day who get to help patients in their care to celebrate the season with a gift.
