FOR MANY MEN the holiday season can be a time of joy, but it can also bring challenges such as loneliness, stress, or mental health struggles.
That’s why Men Walking and Talking, a local peer support group for men, is inviting gentlemen from the Wyre Forest community to join their special Wyre Forest Winter Walk on Boxing Day.
The Kidderminster and Stourport groups, led by local organisers and friends, will come together for this extended walk, starting at Hawkbatch in the Wyre Forest.
Open to all men, the event offers an opportunity to connect, recharge, and shake off the festive bustle with a friendly group walk.
Whether participants are looking to stretch their legs after a busy Christmas or find support during a challenging time, the walk promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The Kidderminster group meets every Wednesday at 7pm at the gates to Brintons Parks, while the Stourport group walks on Monday evenings at 7pm, starting from the gates to Memorial Park.
Each walk typically lasts about an hour, creating an accessible space for men to connect, share, or simply enjoy a bit of fresh air and exercise.
The Boxing Day walk is a unique opportunity to explore the scenic Wyre Forest in good company. No registration is necessary, just turn up and join the group.
In January, the Kidderminster group will celebrate its third anniversary, marking three years of helping men in the local community find companionship, support, and a much-needed outlet.
