STOURPORT Swifts slipped to a 2-0 defeat on the road away at high-flying 1874 Northwich as an early red card proved costly.
A pair of second-half goals from Liam Fitzpatrick and Eden Bailey condemned Stourport to defeat at the Creative Hut Stadium after a visiting player saw red just before the half-hour mark.
The result means Swifts sit ninth in the Midland Football League Premier Division table.
Stourport are next in action against AFC Wulfrunians on Saturday, December 21 with kick-off at 3pm at the Prestige Midlands Arena.
