PANTOMIME is coming to Stourport-on-Severn (oh yes it is) and it is set to benefit a number of local good causes.
The Monday Night Group – a registered charity based in the town – performs a traditional, family friendly panto at the Civic Hall. This year’s show is Cinderella. All the profits are donated to local groups and organisations which benefit the community.
Shows take place between January 24 and February 1.
Since becoming a registered charity in 1981, The Monday Night Group has given away approximately £600,000.
Last year, more than 100 local groups and organisations had a share of over £35,000. And this year the group wants to help even more.
A group spokesperson said: “The only way we can do this is by selling even more tickets.”
Go to mondaynightgroup.org to book tickets, which are £15 for adults and £12 for children and senior citizens.
