Appeal for more adult volunteers for Kidderminster Royal Marine Cadets group

Kidderminster Editorial 4th Feb, 2025 Updated: 4th Feb, 2025

THE Kidderminster Royal Marine Cadet Detachment has been so successful since it opened, it now needs more adult volunteers so it can expand and offer more places.

The group’s programme offers a unique blend of seamanship, navigation, leadership training and boating opportunities, all working within the traditions of the Royal Navy. The Kidderminster Cadets is fully recognised by, The Royal Navy and the Ministry of Defence.

As a uniformed organisation, it is dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to learn new skills, build confidence and make lifelong friends, helping young people grow personally and professionally.

Volunteers will start onboarding after successfully completing vetting (there is a required DBS and local interview) but there is no previous military experience required, with full and free training being provided.
