THE Plod and Pint fundraiser for KEMP Hospice is back at 10am on Saturday, May 10, and people are being urged to sign up.
Participants collect sponsorship to walk either eight miles to Arley and back or a 13.1mile half-marathon route along the River Severn to Highley and back where a cold pint will be waiting for them at Bewdley Brewery.
Participating adults are asked to raise at least £50 in sponsorship and children raise can as much as they can.
Every penny counts and your sponsorship makes a real difference – £18.44 helps pay for therapy sessions, £51.40 pays for a child to receive bereavement counselling sessions and £150.64 pays for a clinical nurse for a day.
The easiest way to fundraise is to set up a Just Giving page – justgiving.com – and share it with friends and family.

How to register
Registration costs £10 for adults, £5 for under 16s or £25 for families of two adults and two under 16s.
The entry fee covers the cost of hosting the event and sponsorship goes to KEMP Hospice to allow it to continue to deliver care and support services for people living with life-illnesses and bereavement across Wyre Forest.
