THE MAYOR of Kidderminster and the High Sheriff of Worcestershire visited several charities and organisations in the town.

During their visits, Coun George Connolly and Charles Moyles JP found out about each organisation, the valuable work they do and the challenges they face.

The valuable insights into The ContinU Plus Academy, The Emily Jordan Foundation, Kemp Hospice, and Kidderminster Foodbank gave the pair a better understanding as they chatted to staff and volunteers.

It was also an opportunity for the Mayor and High Sheriff to personally thank the dedicated staff, trustees, and volunteers for their hard work and commitment to supporting the local community.

Kemp Hospice posted on its Facebook afterwards: “It was a lovely afternoon full of great conversations, a tour of the hospice and participating in our Neuro Exercise class taught by Hospice Exercise Well-being Practitioner, Kim.

“Thank you for coming to visit us, it was wonderful sharing valuable insights into the important work our team do, the impact we have on the community and our commitment to supporting locals in the Wyre Forest with our care and services.”
