BEWDLEY Town exited the Marsh Challenge Cup at the fourth round stage following a penalty shootout defeat against Ludlow Town.
Bewdley fell behind to Kieran Dovey’s strike onĀ 17 minutes only for Ben Espley to draw the visitors to level just past the half-hour mark at Bromfield Road.
AndĀ Marcio Adonis completed the turnaround after the break on 56 minutes to put Bewdley ahead.
However, Ludlow equalised three minutes from time when Cameron Marsh found the net to send the game to penalties.
And Ludlow triumphed 5-4 on spot kicks to knock out divisional rivals Bewdley.
Bewdley are next in action against Carterton on Saturday, March 8 with kick-off at 3pm at Swinbrook Road.
