POLICE in Kidderminster are investigating an attempted burglary in Cookley.
The raiders struck between 8pm on Thursday and 9am on Saturday, entering a back garden via an unlocked gate.
They then used a tool to gain entry to a free-standing garage in the back garden.
The resident was awoken around 3.40am on Friday by a noise and saw two people on his neighbour’s drive get into a white car.
It is unknown if this was connected but there were also reports of people wandering on Castle Road, Cookley around 3.50am yesterday (Sunday).
They were seen to approach a front door. No entry was gained and nothing was taken.
Witnesses or anyone with information or doorbell footage should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
If a crime is spotted in progress, people should always call 999.
