STUDENTS from Holy Trinity School in Kidderminster got to put their political punditry to the test when they were paid a visit by Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier.
The HTS Student Council members from years nine, 10, 11 and 12, got to quiz Mr Garnier on a range of local and national political issues.
The diverse variety of discussion topics ranged from Brexit to Keir Starmer’s efficacy at handling the recent developments in the Ukraine, how he planned to support the local infrastructure to accommodate increased housing development and what a typical day in Parliament was like for an MP.
Headmaster, Mr Williams, said: “I was incredibly proud of our students and very impressed by their eloquence, perceptive insights and their wide-ranging knowledge of political issues and current affairs.”
