A MEMBER of Bewdley Rotary Club and Stourport Boat Club Member is fundraising for Motor Neurone Disease Association and is looking for support, writes Mia Whitehouse.
Bob Eaton turns 87 in June and is vying to row 87km during April.
He is undertaking the feat to raise cash for the MND Association and to thank Bewdley Medical Centre, Worcestershire Royal and Princess Alexandra Hospitals, and the NHS, for his cancer treatment and other ailments over the last couple of years.
Stourport Boat Club loaned him a rowing machine and he has already completed 48km by April 10, confident he will make it to 87km.
The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those affected by MND.
By donating through JustGiving, the cash will go straight to MND Association, so is the most efficient way to give.
