COMIC, poet, humourist and singer Rob Barratt is heading back to Bromsgrove for the latest WORDS event.
After playing a very well received gig at the The Bromsgrove Folk Festival last summer, he will be the guest speaker at Bromsgrove Library at 7pm next Tuesday, April 29, with his show ‘Brain Tickling and Word Mangling’.
Rob has appeared at folk, literature and arts festivals all over the British Isles and Australia and his performance combines clever word play, verse and song with satire, parody and audience participation.
He deals with a variety of important topics, such as squid, data driven education, neanderthal politics and the weather in Scotland – but beneath the humour lurk serious issues.
Tickets for the talk are £12 and can be booked by via Ticket Source by visiting: ticketsource.co.uk and typing ‘Brain Tickling and Word Mangling’ into the search bar.
