ELLIOTT Lees scored his second hat-trick of the season as Bewdley Town returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Tytherington Rocks.
Lees netted a treble for the second game in a row to put Tytherington to the sword at Hardwicke Playing Field.
The result means Bewdley sit fourth in the Hellenic League Division One table.
Bewdley made the perfect start when Lees forced the ball home after just four minutes to open the scoring after the Tytherington goalkeeper kept out his initial effort.
And Lees doubled his tally for the game on 31 minutes when his scuffed effort found the net from Jake Hollylee’s pass.
Lees completed his hat-trick on 64 minutes when the striker’s instinctive finish from Alex Price’s clipped the post on its way into the net.
The home side reduced the deficit with 10 minutes left to play as substitute Toby Waterman struck but it proved too little too late.
Bewdley travel to Shortwood United on Saturday, October 5 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Meadowbank Stadium.
