PHIL Brown admits the tale of Kidderminster Harriers season comes down to final 90 minutes with the club one win away from becoming champions.

Harriers head to Southport on the final day of the National League North season top of the league table on goal difference.

Kidderminster hold a plus-22 goal difference advantage over Brackley while Scunthorpe United sit two points further back and could win the title if both Harriers and Brackley slip up.

Harriers play a Southport side who sit down in 19th place and have failed to win any of their last six league matches while Harriers enter the fixture on a 13-game unbeaten run.

Brackley host already-relegated Farsley Celtic who sit bottom of the table.

And Scunthorpe travel to Hereford with the latter side still chasing a play-off spot despite suffering a heavy defeat against Harriers on Easter Monday.

Kidderminster hope to return to the National League at the first attempt and boss Brown wants one more big push from his players to secure the title and promotion on the final day.

Brown said: “We’ve got a chance to win the title, it’s just amazing, football is fantastic, it’s just been a great season.

“We’ve got to win one game of football to be crowned champions, it’s been a remarkable season.

“The tale of the whole season is down to 90 minutes.

“It’s about collective nerve, we’ve got one more to go, consistency has been the key for our season.

“It’s going to feel like a home fixture, and we’ll hopefully give the away supporters what they’ve set out to achieve which is promotion.

“It’s one big push, we need to bring our a-game to the party and hopefully the result will take care of itself.

“The players have embraced the pressure and the changing room has developed this season.

“There’s such a big story behind it, how many people thought it was going to be the play-offs, how many were thinking we’re never going to win the title?

“Let’s get it done for the supporters.”

Kidderminster make the trip to Southport on Saturday, April 26 with kick-off at 3pm at the Big Help Stadium.
