A RALLYING call has been issued to volunteers to come and help with The Big Clean Up at Springfield Park in Kidderminster.
The event, which runs from 10am to 12pm next Saturday, May 17, has been organised by the Sion Hill Community Group and will feature a litter pick and swap shop.
Everyone is welcome to attend the event and all equipment will be provided.
Participants should meet at the Green on Usmere Road. Those who cannot make this day or time are urged to undertake their own litter picks.
For the Swap Shop, people are urged to take along items they no longer use but still work and are useful.
Others who need items are welcome to take what they need.
A spokesperson for the event said: “People clearly want to have a country to be proud of and that pride starts with where you live, so do get involved.”
