IN PICTURES - Malvern Three Counties Show delights visitors

THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to the annual Malvern Three Counties Show for a celebration of countryside and rural life last weekend (June 13 to 16).

The action packed festival entertained over 90,000 visitors with thousands of animals, food and drink, countryside shopping, celebrities and special guests and much more.

The stars of the show were the 8,000 animals which were showcased through livestock and horse equine parades. Other animal based entertainment included birds of prey, gun dogs, and sheep shearing competitions.

Family activities included sporting spectacles such as rock climbing, rugby, lacrosse and cricket. Other activities including cooking workshops, live music, machinery demonstrations and adventure sports as well as engaging workshops on science, technology, English and maths.

Rounding out the weekend of entertainment included high octane motocross displays, tractor machinery showcases, British Army parachute display teams and horse carriage driving.

The festival, at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, attracts nearly 100,000 visitors every year and is one of the largest livestock and equine shows in England.
