A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of theft after members of the public reported a vehicle suspected of stealing fuel.
The van was spotted travelling on the motorway through Bromsgrove, and was brought to a stop by Bromsgrove and Hereford OPU teams at Frankley Services.
Inside, officers discovered an unsecured load of fuel — estimated to be worth £5,000, believed to have been stolen from multiple locations across the county.
The driver had no licence and no insurance.
The man was arrested for theft, and both the cloned vehicle and fuel have been seized.
