POLICE have launched an investigation after a woman fell into the River Severn between Trimpley and Arley last Friday.
Officers from West Mercia Police are appealing for two ‘good Samaritans’ who helped her to get in touch with them.
The time of the incident is unknown but it is believed a couple who were walking along the river path helped her out of the water.
The woman suffered facial injuries and the pair may be vital witness in helping ascertain how her injuries were sustained.
PC Annabel Bloomer from Wyre Forest Police said: “We’d like to hear from the couple who helped her, or anyone else who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident.”
She urged anyone with information to email her at: [email protected] or call her on 07773 043041.
