FIVE PIGEON chicks were rescued after they became trapped on the first-storey ledge of a property in Kidderminster.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Tenbury Wells Fire Station was called around 4pm on Saturday after concerns were raised by a member of the public.
Firefighters used a ladder to access the ledge and then lifted the young birds to safety.
The incident was resolved by 4.47pm.
