STOURPORT-on-Severn CC remain top of the table after claiming a dominant winning draw against Old Elizabethans.
The visitors blasted 258-6 from their 50 overs at the Memorial Ground after being put into bat.
Siddarth Ahhuja finished unbeaten on 66 not out while all of Stourport’s top order scored well.
Openers Samuel Foley (38) and Michael Pratt (36) set the tone while Jamie Brighton (42) fell just eight runs short of a half-century.
Sam Beadsworth (24) scored at a rate of a run-a-ball while Ryan Derrick (18) also added useful runs.
In reply, Old Elizabethans opener Adam Wiffen (57) made a half-century while middle order batter Taylor Pugh (38) also impressed with the bat.
The visitors took wickets at regular intervals as Ahhuja (4-24) did most of the damage with the ball.
However, Nick Buckle (14 not out) frustrated the Stourport attack as he survived 67 balls with Stourport just one wicket shy of victory as Old Elizabethans closed on 183-9.
The result means Stourport remain top of the Worcestershire County League Premier Division table.
Stourport are next in action against Redditch on Saturday, July 12 with the game to begin as 12pm at Walshes Meadow.
