MIDLANDS Air Ambulance Charity has shared its pride in hosting the annaul ‘Thank-a-Thon’ in celebration of National Thank You Day (Sunday, July 6).
National Thank You Day is dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the kindness and generosity from individuals and businesses in local communities.
On Monday, July 7, the charity’s aircrew, staff, and volunteers came together to contact over 28,500 loyal supporters across the region through phone calls and emails.
This annual event offers a meaningful way for the charity to express its gratitude to those who have contributed to its lifesaving missions.
Those who could not be reached by phone were sent warm messages of appreciation by email and via the charity;s social media platforms, ensuring no supporter was left unrecognised.
Carl Williams, community fundraising lead at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support we receive from across the communities we serve.
“Whether it is our kind donors, volunteers, local businesses, or community groups, we are always humbled by the generosity shown towards our cause.”
Charity volunteer Martin Watson also spoke of his pride in being involved in thanking the organisations supporters.
He added: “I was really happy to be able to be involved in the Thank-A-Thon and was truly touched by the experience of speaking with some of the kind donors.”
