Achievements celebrated at Stourport High School's end-of-year awards evening

HIGH-achieving students at Stourport High School were rewarded for their efforts during a celebrations evening which recognised their exceptional achievements and personal growth.

More than 70 students were presented with awards across years seven, eight and nine.

For year seven students, their ability to settle into their first year at secondary school was celebrated.

And for years eight and nine, their consistent efforts throughout the school year were recognised. Head of Year awards were received by Theo Hughes (year seven), Ethan Cosnett (year eight) and

Jacob Hammond (year nine) for their outstanding politeness, kindness and hard work.

Student of the Year awards were presented to Eisa Javed (year seven), Maisie Crocker (year eight) and Maisie Thompson (year nine) for their consistent positive attitudes and academic growth.




Jensen O’Mahony earned the Triumph Over Adversity award for his ability to settle in as a valued member of his year and embodying school values, despite starting year seven late.

Stourport High School headteacher, Dr Elizabeth Ford, said: “All the students who received awards are shining lights in the way they exemplify our school values.


“We are delighted by the brilliant personal and academic growth they have made already and wish them well as they move up through our school.”
