A PARTNERSHIP between Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (BDHT) and J Harper & Sons (Leominster) Ltd has led to the completion of a 33-home affordable housing development in Stourport.
The Vale Road scheme will create affordable homes by providing one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Five homes have been built to comply with wheelchair adaptable standards.
J Harper & Sons (Leominster) Ltd also refreshed surrounding areas.
Vale Road is part of the town’s ongoing regeneration and long-term social and economic growth.
Antony Rees, from the company, said: “We are proud to have delivered another high-quality and much-needed affordable housing project in partnership with our valued client, BDHT.
“This project is a testament to the determination and hard work of all parties involved and serves as a fine example of how re-purposing under-utilised brownfield sites brings a wealth of benefits to the community and helps meet local housing needs.”
Louise Wooldridge, from BDHT, said “This project reflects BDHT’s commitment to building thriving, inclusive communities.
“Working with J Harper & Sons Ltd has allowed us to not only deliver these much-needed homes but also address local feedback by enhancing the surrounding environment through thoughtful landscaping and infrastructure improvements.
“Vale Road will play a vital role in Stourport’s regeneration and we look forward to continuing this momentum of building more homes, providing accessible living and investing in energy efficiency to create better outcomes for our residents.”
