BEWDLEY Town saw their league game against Redditch Borough abandoned due to an injury to opposition goalkeeper Callum Monaghan.
Monaghan suffered a serious injury just eight minutes into the Hellenic League Division One clash at Ribbesford Meadows.
The goalkeeper received treatment on the pitch before an ambulance was called.
He was later to taken to hospital in a private vehicle.
Monaghan suffered a dislocated ankle which will rule him out of action for the next couple of months.
