THREE men have been charged after a burglary at Tesco Express in Kidderminster on Sunday night.
Liam Hadlington, 31, of Locarno Road, Tipton, West Midlands, Brandon Webb, 51, of Gate Street, Tipton, West Midlands and Simon Loveland, 47, of no fixed abode are due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
Hadlington is further charged with possess a controlled class B drug – cannabis.
Police responded to a report of an ongoing burglary at 11.30pm and, thanks to their quick actions, managed to detain all suspects and recover all the stolen property including 200 tobacco products.
They also recovered balaclavas, an axe, and a hammer believed to have been used during the incident.
Safer Business Action Week
This week is Safer Business Action Week (SaBA Week) which showcases what West Mercia Police does to tackle and prevent business crime.
SaBA Week, which runs from today (Monday) until Friday, October 18, and aims to raise awareness of the issues affecting businesses such as shoplifting, burglary and anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Officers across the force will be supporting local businesses, which is work carried out regularly throughout the year, and strengthening working relationships between police and the business communities.
