A FIRST-HALF blitz helped Stourport Swifts to a comfortable 4-0 victory away at Highgate United.
Swifts struck twice inside the opening 10 minutes as Connor Deards and Drew Canavan both struck while Kai Adams and George Baker also netted before the break at Tythe Barn Lane.
The result means Stourport sit third in the Midland Football League Premier Division table.
Stourport broke the deadlock on seven minutes when Deards tapped home from close range to finish a flowing team move.
And Swifts doubled their lead two minutes later when Canavan’s cross from the right went all the way in via the aid of the post.
The visitors stretched their lead on 32 minutes as Adams lashed a shot into the top right corner from the edge of the box.
And Baker completed the rout one minute before half time when he drilled a shot into the net from the edge of the penalty area.
Stourport are next in action away at OJM Black Country on Saturday, November 2 with kick-off at 3pm at Triplex Social Club.
