A KIDDERMINSTER nursery has strengthened its staff skills, enhanced cyber security and achieved an eco award after receiving business support from the Worcestershire Growth Hub.

Having successfully completed the Elevate Programme with Worcestershire County Council, the nursery turned to the Growth Hub to continue its development journey.

Through the SkillsBoost programme, staff accessed targeted CPD training which strengthened confidence, expertise and long-term progression. With additional guidance from the Growth Hub,

Deerhurst also secured the eco award and enhanced its cyber-security systems, ensuring safe, compliant digital practices for staff and families.

Becky Harris, Deerhurst Day Nursery owner and manager, said: “The Growth Hub’s expertise and ongoing support have had a hugely positive impact on our development as an organisation. From enhancing staff skills to boosting our sustainability credentials and improving digital safety, the support has played an essential role in our long-term goals and success.”
