WEST Mercia Police have provided an update on the incident in Packhorse Lane, Hollywood, on Friday.
We were contacted by concerned residents who saw a large police presence, including armed officers and dog units, outside a gated property.
Police said on Friday they had received reports a woman had been ‘threatened with a weapon’.
And today, they moved to clarify the situation over what happened.
In a statement they said: “We were called to Packhorse Lane in Hollywood at around 10.25am on Friday morning following a report of a person seen with what was believed to be a hand gun.
“Officers attended and it was established this wasn’t the case and the caller had not seen a hand gun.
“No arrests were made and nobody was injured.”
