THE ORGANISERS of Kidderminster Street Market have cancelled the event today (Thursday, March 12), due to high winds.
According to the MET Office, there will be high winds and gusts in the town.
The decision to cancel the market has been taken by The Bescot Promotions team due to safety concerns for staff, traders and the public. They said that had to be the top priority and was the ‘most responsible course of action given the predicted conditions’.
They added: “Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to resume normal operations soon.
“Please stay safe and take care in the inclement weather.”
The street market is due to return to Kidderminster on Saturday, March 14.
