LOVE will be in the air next month when Valentine’s Day arrives on February 14.
And what better way to celebrate the patron saint of love than with a romantic meal with that special person.
The Vasaanti in Droitwich has two seatings available on Valentine’s Day so couples can spend some quality time together and enjoy some fine Indian cuisine.
The first sitting takes place from 5pm to 7pm with the second sitting between 7.15pm and 9.15pm.
The Romeo option (option 1) offers any starter (excluding seafood), any main course (excluding seafood and signature dishes) and sundry items (rice, nan bread or chips) for £24.95 per person.
The Juliet option (option 2) offers the same starters, main courses and sundry items but includes seafood and signature dishes – that option is £29.95 per person.
The Vasaanti had a busy festive season as people flocked to the eatery to enjoy the mouthwatering meals on offer and people are urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
For those couples wanting a cosy romantic night in, there are also takeaways or collections on offer so couples can enjoy The Vasaanti’s renowned cuisine in the comfort of their own home.
Akbar Miah, known as Aki, took over the restaurant from his brother last year after a successful 17 years at India Spice in Bromsgrove.
And since then, it has gone from strength-to-strength with Aki and his team, including manager Alamin Miah and the famous Basel, working hard to build up the restaurant’s reputation.
The staff are ready and cannot wait to welcome diners for the most romantic night of the year.
After already having plenty of customers journeying to the eatery from the surrounding areas since he took over, Aki is looking forward to seeing many familiar faces from Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Worcester, Stourbridge and even further afield.
Last year, the Vasaanti was awarded the prestigious ‘Best Restaurant in Worcestershire’ at the TMiiCA Awards.
And, during the ceremony at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham, chef Ahmed Enam came third in the cookery play-off against many wonderful other chefs.
The competition began with 200 chefs which was whittled down before Ahmed showed his cooking prowess and made it into the top trio.
So if you want a wonderful way to show that special someone how much you love them, why not book a table for Valentine’s Day at the Vasaanti.
