1940s themed afternoon tea to raise funds for Jelleymans Heritage Arts Charity

THERE will be a 1940s-themed afternoon tea on offer at Jelleyman’s Mill in Kidderminster from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday afternoon (July 12).

The event is being run by the Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity (JHAC) and all proceeds will go to help preserve the historic Victorian mill.

JHAC is dedicated to perserving and promoting local heritage arts through community programmes and engaging events.

Located at Jelleyman’s Mill, Puxton Lane, ‘The Bungalow’ will provide the perfect nostalgic 1940s setting.

Musician and vocalist Emily Brookes will provide live music and singing, to add to the ambiance and authentic atmosphere.

JHAC CEO, Samuel Davie,s said “We cant wait to mark the VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations with our own 1940s themed tea event.




“Every penny raised by the event will be put back into the charity to improve the services and opportunities that we offer to the local community.”

Tickets to the event – £10 for adults and £6 for children – will be available via Eventbrite here. Booking early is advised as tickets are limited and people are encouraged to dress in themed clothes if they want.
