IT IS DAY one of Severn Valley Railway’s Autumn Diesel Bash, a celebration of heritage diesels in Kidderminster.
The four day event, finishing on October 6, will see a collection of diesel locomotives operating on a busy timetable.
Visitors can ride as many engines as they like, visit The Engine House at Highley and sample real ales in the pubs.
Shows include: Class 25 25262, care of South Devon Diesel Traction, from the South Devon Railway – Class 25 D7628 from North Yorkshire Moors Railway – Great Western Railway Castle HST.
The Class 58 58023, will be working first passenger turns in over 25 years, and the first workings of a Class 58 in the UK since 2002.
A number of tours will be available over the four day event.
