A WORCESTERSHIRE based non-profit supporting children and their families with cancer has raised almost £30,000 thanks to its charity ball.
The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust welcomed 140 guests to its Greatest Show Charity Ball which treated attendees to a circus themed night of live performance.
Guests enjoyed aerialist performances, a choir concert from Voices Unlimited and its flash mob, a live auction of special prizes, speeches and the charity’s annual Corporate Challenge Awards at DRPG Studios last Saturday (March 22).
The night started with welcome speeches from CEO and founder, Dr Jen Kelly and chairperson, Vic Billings. Supporters also competed in games for prizes and heard touching stories from Emma Cleal and James Mackay who have been supported by the childhood cancer charity.
Auction prizes included special private VIP experiences, short getaways, high-end dining experiences, and even an exclusive England football shirt signed by Shirley born, Real Madrid and international star Jude Bellingham.
The Greatest Show finale was a series of pre-recorded thank you messages from some of the children the Trust supports across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. Guests were guided through to the final studio spaces to enjoy live Motown and soul music from the talented Clique Band and for photo booth fun provided by Bliss Events and The Selfie Shack.
