Children across Worcestershire set to find out secondary school places

FAMILIES across Worcestershire will find out today, which secondary school their children will be starting at this September.

Worcestershire County Council received 6,592 applications this year and everyone who made an application for a secondary school place has received an offer of a place.

9 in 10 of Worcestershire’s children will be starting secondary school in their first-choice preference in September.

Coun David Chambers, cabinet member for education at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Starting secondary school is a significant milestone in a child’s educational journey, and we’re delighted that the majority of Worcestershire’s pupils will be joining one of their preferred schools this September.

“We wish them all the best as they take this exciting next step in their learning and development.”

School place offers are available to view via logging on to your account, and an email will be sent informing you of the update.
