A BIG Christmas Tree collection will be happening in Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport and Hagley in January, to support KEMP Hospice.

Volunteers will be heading over the weekend of Janurary 10 and 11, to collect real Christmas trees for a donation to the hospice.

A donation of £2,000 from Linden Homes, and the help from local volunteers and local businesses make the collection possible.

Emily Henderson, KEMP fundraiser said: “Linden Homes have been amazing supporters of KEMP Hospice, and we’re thrilled they’ve chosen to support the campaign once again.

“Our Christmas Tree campaign is always a great opportunity to offer a useful service to the local community, whilst raising vital funds for KEMP Hospice.

“Every donation goes directly to supporting our hospice charity, and as we never charge for our care, every penny raised will help us continue to provide our specialist care and support services across the Wyre Forest.”

Vistry South West Midlands, who sell under the Linden Homes brand at the Lea Castle development located in Kidderminster, have chosen to sponsor the event for the fourth year in a row in support of the Wyre Forest charity.

Kate Smith, marketing manager added: “We’re delighted to sponsor KEMP Hospice’s Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling event for the fourth year running.

“This fantastic initiative not only serves the community but also helps raise vital funds for the hospice. We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a meaningful cause.”
