Donate old furniture to help Primrose Hospice raise vital cash

Sonny Rackham 30th Jul, 2025

A LEADING local hospice is calling on the community to donate pre-loved furniture to help raise vital funds for the charity’s work.

Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre is hoping residents are willing to part with their old sofa to boost the charity’s coffers and help continue their support for patients and families across the area.

The hospice is especially keen for items such as sofas, armchairs, bedroom furniture, dining room sets, coffee tables and sideboards.

If you have an item you would like to donate you can book a furniture collection on the hospice’s website or donate the item yourself at the charity’s Bromsgrove Home and Donation Centre or Headless Cross store.

Ian McRoy, retail manager at Primrose Hospice, said: “As an independent charity, we rely on the generosity of our community. Donated furniture helps us raise the funds we need to continue providing vital care to those who need it most.

“If you’re looking to give your home a new look, we’ve got a brilliant selection of quality furniture in-store – and every purchase helps support local people.”
