POLICE in Kidderminster were shocked to see an e-scooter, not only being ridden illegally, but also pulling a trailer with a child sat in the back.
The officers explained both the legalities and the dangers of e-scooters to the rider and reported them for having no insurance.
The e-scooter was also seized.
It is illegal to ride e-scooters on public roads and pavements unless they are designated ones part of an authorised scheme, such as the ones in Birmingham city centre and the surrounding areas.
