A SUMMER of music at Riverside Meadows kicks off this Sunday, June 1, with ultimate Bon Jovi tribute Bad Medicine UK.
The show – which runs from 2pm to 4pm – is free to watch and will offer an unforgettable afternoon of classic rock with a high-energy, hit-packed and family-friendly performance.
The Bon Jovi classics, including ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’, ‘Always’ and, of course ‘Bad Medicine’ will be belted out at the bandstand.
The event has been organised by Wyre Forest District Council.
A spokesperson said: “With powerhouse vocals and electrifying guitar work, it’s the full Bon Jovi experience in a beautiful riverside setting.
“Bring your picnic chairs, blankets, and your best singing voices for a fun, relaxed afternoon in the park.
“Whether you’re a die-hard Bon Jovi fan or just love live music, this is one you won’t want to miss.”
The event will kickstart a number of free concerts as part of Riverside Park’s ‘Music in the Park’.
They all take place on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm.
Other artists and bands on the way next month include Anne Duggan and Rob Hines (June 8), Black Country Brass (June 15) and the Barcodes (June 29).
And there will be further performances throughout July and August.
