A FESTIVAL will take place at Jelleyman’s Mill on the first weekend of next month, writes Rafi Khan.

JelleyFest 4 – Steampunk Summer will be held by Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity on August 2 and 3.

This highly anticipated festival promises a fantastical journey into the world of steampunk, alongside a dynamic programme of activities and entertainment for all ages.

The venue – a spirited hub of Victorian-era ingenuity and industrial wonder – provides the perfect backdrop for all that is taking place.

These include a large craft market offering an array of unique handmade goods, an outdoor music stage takeover by Load Street Studios, showcasing over 14 local acts performing across the weekend and a dedicated children’s activity room hosted by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, offering engaging and educational fun for younger visitors.

There will be a plant sale in Jelleyman’s Community Garden, food and drink from The Bungalow Cafe, cocktails and canapes and bee gluten free, along with a whole host of other attractions and fun for all the family.

All events are free to attend, ensuring the entire community can join in the celebration.

Although admission is complimentary, JellyFest 4 also serves as a fundraiser for their Heritage Arts Charity and donations are welcome to support its ongoing work.

Sam Davies, CEO of Jelleyman Heritage Arts Charity, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring JelleyFest 4: Steampunk Summer to Jelleyman’s Mill this August.

“This year’s theme allows us to explore a rich tapestry of creativity, from intricate designs to captivating stories rooted in a reimagined past.

“It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, express themselves, and experience something truly unique.”

He added, while it had been almost a year since the first JelleyFest, the charity and venue had come such a long way with each event building on the success of the last.

“If you haven’t been before, this is definitely the one to attend.”
