JELLEYMAN’S HERITAGE Arts Charity is hosting its Jelleyfest: Spring Spectacular from 11am to 4pm on April 12, writes Lydia Gee.

This event at Jelley Mill aims to support the charity’s ongoing efforts to raise vital funds for enriching art classes, workshops, and community projects, as well as the preservation and restoration of the beautiful Victorian industrial mill.

The event promises a vibrant and engaging experience for all ages, featuring a diverse array of attractions.

The highlight of the day will be a live music performance, courtesy of the Rub-A-Dub Pub Club, which will be providing an fantastic soundtrack to the festivities.

Attendees can also explore over 50 indoor craft stalls, participate in a dedicated children’s craft area and enjoy the grand opening of the new community cafe.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to view plans for the mill’s new garden project, witness open craft workshops at the ‘Craft Jelley,’ eat some delicious hot food from various stalls or visit the two fully stocked bars available.

Those attending will be directly contributing to the preservation of a historical landmark that represents a key part of Kidderminster’s industrial, carpet manufacturing heritage.

Samuel Davis, CEO of Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome the community to Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity.

“This fundraiser is crucial for us to continue our work in providing accessible arts opportunity and to preserve and restore this important part of Kidderminster’s industrial heritage.

“We encourage everyone to join us for a day of fun, creativity and community spirit.”

Entry is free, with a ‘pay what you can’ approach encouraged, with all proceeds going to charity.
