THE PRIMROSE Hospice’s Moulin Rouge Ball has raised a massive £16,560 for the charity.</b>
More than 120 guests attended the glamorous event at Kings Norton Golf Club at the end of last month to generate the cash, which will support the hospice’s essential services for patients and families across North East Worcestershire.
Guests were treated to a night of Parisienne charm, exquisite dining, live entertainment from local band Save the Date and the unique ‘Primrose Prizes’, generously donated by supporters and local businesses.
Every pound raised will help Primrose Hospice continue to provide free, compassionate care and support to those living with life-limiting illnesses and families experiencing bereavement.
The hospice wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated ball committee, which worked tirelessly and showed fantastic creativity to make it an unforgettable evening.
Members are deeply grateful to everyone who donated Primrose Prizes as their generosity helped ensure the success of the event.
Adam Siviter, the Primrose’s fundraising manager, said: “All of us at Primrose are absolutely delighted to have raised more than £16,000 at our Moulin Rouge Ball.
“Our fundraising events are hugely important in helping us fund our work and continue to provide a lifeline to our patients with life-limiting conditions and families in need.
“Thank you so much to our supporters who attended the ball and who have made such a positive impact on local people’s lives.”
People can support the Primrose in a number of ways – from volunteering to setting up a regular donation.
