KIDDERMINSTER Town Council has announced ‘exciting’ improvements to Broadwaters Mill Park.
Enhancement works beginning next week will focus on the restoration of the Senses Garden and new play equipment will be installed.
The Senses Garden will be refreshed with new planting and general restoration.
A council spokesperson said: “The special place for visitors of all ages will be brought back to life.
“And, in the same area, we’ll be adding brand new play equipment, including more interactive features for children to enjoy.”
When the works start and finish
The works are being funded through Section 106 contributions – paid for by developers building properties in the town – and grant funding which means there will be no increase in council tax for residents.
The council added that during the works, which are expected to run through to late May, the area will be temporarily closed, including access from both pedestrian footbridges.
The council spokesperson added: “Thanks for your patience and support — we can’t wait to see this area transformed.”
