MG Sportswear in Kidderminster, is stepping up to help those in need this winter by distributing coats to the homeless.
The company, known for producing sports apparel, is giving away leftover coats to ensure that people living on the streets have some protection from the cold.
Gino Ruffinato, the Managing Director of MG Sportswear, said he has a deep concern for those struggling to stay warm as temperatures drop.
Gino added: “I look at these people and cry at the thought of them being cold – It is terrible.
“Not enough is being done to help and we want to give something to people who are living on the streets.”
The scheme works by encouraging people to reach out if they know someone in need and the team will personally deliver a coat to that spot.
The company is using leftover stock for the donations, but they are also keen to hear from the community about what sizes are needed most to ensure they can provide appropriate clothing.
This generous effort is set to provide much-needed relief to the homeless population, offering warmth and compassion during the colder months.
For anyone wanting to request a coat or provide information on sizing needs, MG Sportswear encourages them to get in touch and help make sure no one is left out in the cold this winter.
