CLASSIC BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley is set to be staged in Kidderminster next week.
Fittingly the venue for The Fair Share Theatre’s ecclesiastical escapades will be St Mary’s and All Saints Church with performances at 7pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (May 15, 16 and 17).
The show, directed by Nathan Beckett-Wilde and Josie Marston, is based on four episodes from the TV series – The Arrival, The Engagement, Dibley Live and Love and Marriage.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Our friends at the church have welcomed us with open arms.
“With only three live performances, and tickets selling fast, don’t miss your chance to witness Geraldine, Alice, Hugo, and the wonderfully bonkers parish council in all their gloriously eccentric glory.
“Expect belly laughs, heartwarming moments, and a divine evening of community theatre at its best.”
