A LAND Rover which was stolen from Blakedown has been recovered by police.
We put out West Mercia Police’s appeal over the weekend following the theft between Friday and Saturday.
The raiders drilled through a metal security post and a metal plate that was positioned across the pedals in order to steal the vehicle.
Thanks to the appeal, a member of the public spotted the vehicle hidden in some bushes in Staffordshire and it was retrieved by the police there.
The car was returned to its owners today.
